We're all about artist features, interviews, playlists, and editorial coverage centered in the emo, pop punk, and post-hardcore adjacent scenes. Plus. We do it all with a side of fun. Our mission? To support the music.

We are run by a community of music listeners and creatives with a passion for the tunes, split between Toronto, ON, and Indianapolis, IN, TOP8 Scene was built by Daniella (visuals / pro-music listener / underground radar) + Talia (professional vibe setter / metalcore expert), with help from Erica (backstage operations / concert participant), plus a rotating lineup of contributors across the U.S. and Canada who care a little too much about music (as they should).

Having previously organized virtual music events that brought fans and artists together, we know the magic of shared music experiences, both offline and online.​ We're here to create a fun space for listeners to connect with the music they love, and hopefully a place where they can discover artists to add to their playlists.
