Anberlin’s New Era Takes Shape With 'GRAVITY' and 'CURRENCY

Last month we told you about Anberlin and their new vocalist, Matty Mullins. They haven't slowed down since because of their new release 'GRAVITY' off of the upcoming 9th studio album CURRENCY, set to release November 11th, 2026. This stamps the beginning of a new chapter for Anberlin. CURRENCY adds to the momentum of the 2024 release 'Vega,' where Matty made his debut on 2 tracks.

Today, this release offers a new outlook on Anberlin and another glimpse of what to expect next. Vocalist Matty Mullins adds, “GRAVITY is about coming to terms with the fact that our time here is limited and choosing to live in a way that leaves nothing unsaid and nothing undone. It wrestles with the weight of mortality, but ultimately finds peace in letting go of fear and embracing the people, moments, and purpose that matter most.”

This finds Anberlin moving forward with a new outlook and confidence; the album blends deeply personal and reflective moments with catchy rock anthems ready to blast your speakers.

The release of 'CURRENCY' gets closer, and Anberlin continues to make their mark. We can't wait to experience everything they have to offer, including live shows, which give fans a mix of their favourites along with new material you won't want to miss!

Make sure to check out Anberlin on tour this fall with Switchfoot.
