AUGUST 28th, 2026 –– Just in: this week's coolest new music releases and fresh faves all in one place.

We are excited for another week of fresh faves; with that comes some great new releases. From TOP8 Scene faves NAKEDBURN to Ray Hawthorne, who just announced his new album, and everyone's faves: Stray View. We always have you covered with the latest drops.

To start off the week, we have none other than the Jonas Brothers! Yeah, you heard us right. They are heading back to their roots with their new drop, 'Listen When Sad,' a nostalgic track that is giving us vibes that remind us of The Maine; the track even name-drops the legendary Taking Back Sunday. We're stoked to see where this new era is headed for the bros.

Next we have Reece Young is back again with 'I Wouldn't' taking inspiration from VOILA and Twenty One Pilots this track is somewhere between fault and failure while also being vulnerable "I Wouldn’t is the culmination of a feeling you can’t describe. At my lowest moments, everyone around me was frustrated they couldn’t help. I never said I wouldn’t try to get better; I just didn’t know how. That very resentment towards yourself you start to feel bubbling up, it explodes in this chorus and breakdown within a wall of sound." Reece explains.

We didn't forget about the HEAVY HITTERS this week:

Kicking it off with The Callous Daoboys 'Watching Us Kiss' this one sets your headphones on fire and gives you goosebumps guaranteed! Honestly, dare we say one of the best heavy hitters of the week. This one will stay on repeat for a hot minute.

Next up on the list we have Secrets dropping 'Silent Strain' listen...if you don't believe us check it out for yourselves, it's a fantastic blend of powerful vocals and catchy tunes honestly is there really anything better than that?
