New Music Friday: Fresh Faves of the Week - September 11th, 2026 – What Songs Came Out This Week? (Find New Releases)
Updated: Sep 24
SEPTEMBER 11th, 2026 –– Just in: this week's hottest new music releases and fresh faves all in one place.
Another week, another new music Friday roundup. We have releases from Spiritbox all the way to Tickets to Space. Check it out.
Public Works is BACK, and we're here to yell about it. You know Public Works can do no wrong when it comes to releasing flat-out TUNES. They are so cool (get it) with this catchy release 'It's Cool, I'm Fine' basically coming to terms with a tough situation it's never easy but sometimes a little lighthearted tune fixes things, shoutout 7/11. Saosin came swinging with “Just Be Honest”. This drop stems from betrayal, frustration, and the search for some much-needed closure. Pairing brooding melodies with a crushing vocal performance, Saosin is taking pain and turning it around.
The Bites just dropped their track 'Dancing With The Devil' ahead of their upcoming self-titled sophomore album that's set to be released September 18th staying true to rock and roll and adding their own twist we love what we hear and we know this will be a good one!
Indie punk band Hippie Trim is back after 2+ years with their new drop, “Up In Smoke.” It’s angry, it’s honest, and honestly? We get it. The track heads into the feeling of watching the world unravel around you while trying to keep up. "A verbal punch to the gut for every snake slithering through the grass. An outlet for everyone who can barely keep going in the face of what they see day after day. If this resonates with you, this song is for you,” the band shared.
Of course we haven't forgotten about the HEAVY HITTERS this week:
This week, there comes Spiritbox with 'Mourning.' Can they even make a bad song? If you haven't heard they are one of the most talented, respected bands in the scene, and this drop is Spiritbox to a T! So needless to say, it's a banger.
Next up, we have Orbit Culture dropping 'Nuclear God' now. This one is a hidden gem. If you love heavy music, which of course you do, you will love this one; it's the perfect mix of heavy drums/guitars, plus the vocals are insane 10/10 from us.
That's a wrap, we'll see you next week!
