SEPTEMBER 25th, 2026 –– Just in: this week's hottest new music releases and fresh faves all in one place.

This week is loaded with records, singles, a music video, and... a fast-food emo album? You got that right. Let's spin.

WENDY'S – like the burger joint Wendy's – dropped an emo album this week. Yeah, we're just as shocked. The project features artists Shane Told from Silverstein, Beau Bokan from Bless The Fall, Matty Mullins from Memphis May Fire and Anberlin, Chloe Kinnon from Winona Fighter, Kat Leon from Holy Wars and Ferek DiScanio from State Champs. Safe to say it's stacked, hilarious and catchy.

Huge news – Scary Kids Scaring Kids just dropped a new single, 'Something in the Water.' This release is the start of a new era for the band ahead of their upcoming album RISE and the first release with Albert Schweizer as their official lead vocalist. Colton “Coba” Westerman has also officially joined Scary Kids Scaring Kids on the bass. Big things are coming for this band, and we couldn't be more excited.

Up-and-comer Nicole Alexis dropped her new EP Sympathy Rehab, and it's giving us nostalgic 2000s Avril vibes. The EP is edgy and even includes an acoustic version of her track 'Broken'. Want more nostalgic sounds? We got you. Montreal Ska-Punk outfit K-Man & The 45s dropped their track 'Demon Days' – the second single off of their new record Heed The Call, which will be dropping on October 9th.

TOP8 Faves: Endswell bring their Midwest emo sound featuring a heavier twist with their highly anticipated EP 'Everything Confided Will Be Forgotten.' There's something for everyone on this EP, our fave so far? We can't pick, but love 'Halcyon Days,' which perfectly blends that midwest emo feel with a post-hardcore vibe, and heavy hitter 'Everything Confided

Speaking of Midwest emo.. MUSIC VIDEO ALERT: You already know how much we love Palette Knife, and their latest record, Keyframe, has been in our rotation since it came out. Check out their new video for 'Mimic' below:

Up-and-coming band New Vision has signed to independent artist's first record label, Papercut Recordings and has dropped their first single, 'I Am A Muse.' Lead guitarist Ryan Skinner shares that "This song kinda came out of nowhere one day at practice. The lead I'm playing reminds me of something Drug Church would write, which is sick for me because they're one of my favourite bands. I remember this song being fun to record in the studio just because it's so high-energy. In the breakdown at the end of the song, our producer Adam Cichocki had me try out the Boss Rotary Ensemble pedal for the lead, and it turned out sick. I went home after we finished recording and bought the pedal on Reverb." We are excited to see what's to come for New Vision.

A cool fact? Papercut Recordings is also founded by Michael Leo Valeri (guitarist for Brand of Sacrifice) and Ryan "Tuck" O'Leary (bassist/co-vocalist for Fit for a King).

We're far from done. Here are our HEAVY HITTERS of the week:

Stray View is back with 'Shadows'. Every song that this band has dropped so far has been on point, and we're eager to catch them live one day (they just announced a tour)! Anyways, if you're looking for a new addition to your metalcore playlists, Stray View has you covered with all the heavy vibes.

Next up, we have Northlane dropping 'Crucified.' Northlane has us on the edge of our seats waiting for their album 'Anemoia,' which will be their 7th studio album. It's set to drop October 30th, PLUS iykyk it's also produced by the one and only Jordan Fish. Now we can't wait to blast this album on Halloween and for the rest of the year cheers to that!

That's all we have for you today; see you next week!
