Behind The Track: Moore Ave's "Alright"

Based out of Aylmer, Ontario, self-described as "Punk, Pop-Punk and Alternative, with an ever-present tone of Everybody Loving Everybody," Moore Ave is here to bring the fun and good vibes. Having dipped their toes into the group fave-genre: hardcore, their latest release 'Alright' brings a heavier side to the band.

 

The track was mixed and mastered by Scott Middleton (ex Cancer Bats) and is a stepping stone into the band, merging their favorite parts of music to define their signature Moore Ave sound. They talk about the making of "Alright", experimenting with a new genre, and what's next.

 

TOP8's Take:

Moore Ave has quickly become a favorite of ours. The second we heard 'Alright', we were hooked. Not only is the song a straight-up ripper, but the music video is also one of the funniest, most creative pieces of work we've seen in a long time. 

 

Though the single hits different from their previous tunes (we can't stop spinning their album Turn Around), it proves that they're amazing at creating music, like to have fun, and can make anything sound cool.

We can't wait for the new music in 2026, you know we'll be hitting play, and so should you.​
