“We formed Summerled in college and have been playing music together for years. The band is named after the street we grew up on while practicing in Pat's parents' garage.” 

Self-described as “high-energy pop-punk chaos with catchy hooks and summer vibes,” Summerled is delivering exactly that. Straight out of Montreal, Quebec, they’re reviving the punchy, carefree spirit that defines the genre, and we’re here for it.

Your favorite era is back:

They have that energy and spirit that made bands in the early 2000s iconic, but with an edge that’s totally their own. People gravitate toward this band, and it makes total sense. 

​

The band told us they believe it’s because their sound has “the positive energy and nostalgic feeling of early pop-punk.”  That take is exactly what pulled us in. They're nailing it.

Speaking of early pop-punk, we had to find out which bands have helped make Summerled, Summerled: 

“We grew up listening to everything. Our newest music is inspired by bands like All Time Low, Seaway, and Neck Deep, but of course, it all started with our love for classic bands such as Simple Plan and Blink-182.”

We definitely see those influences. Summerled brings the liveliness, hooks, and attitude we all know and love about the genre. It’s something we’ve been missing in the scene. They’re like a brand new blast from the past in the best way possible.

THEIR LATEST RELEASE

Their latest single, “Every Summer,” dropped in August alongside the track “TGIF.”  Together, they’re a perfect snapshot of what Summerled does best. They're fun, quirky, nostalgic-sounding, and unapologetically pop-punk. The instrumentals hit us with a fresh but also familiar sound, making it feel like these tracks were always meant to be in our rotation.

They’re exactly the kind of songs you want blasting through your speakers on a summer night drive, jamming along with your friends, or in the crowd, partying at one of their shows.

BRINGING "EVERY SUMMER" TO LIFE

The song came together pretty naturally. We wanted to have a song that gets people jumping, and the chorus is heavily inspired by the pop-rock hits you'd hear on the radio back in the 2000s.”

While working on “Every Summer,” Summerled focused on creating a nostalgic vibe that blends the energy of classic pop-punk with their own twist. It’s full of upbeat, feel-good energy, but deep down it’s all about routine, heartbreak, and chasing a person or feeling that makes things exciting again. The lyrics are the kind you can scream along to with your friends and have a total blast, but the moment you actually think about them, you realize you’re feeling every word. 

“Having upbeat and catchy instrumentals is what makes pop-punk so much fun. I think you can still tell a story that is relatable and has its ups and downs while keeping the energy in the song overall positive.”

At the end of the day, “Every Summer” is all about chasing chaos, the excitement, and the moments that make life feel less like the same old routine. It’s pop-punk fun: drinking with friends, catching feelings for someone out of your league, and pretending you’re unbothered while screaming the lyrics in your car. Summer becomes the chance to forget real life, boredom, and even heartbreak. This track delivers that nostalgic, carefree energy we don’t get enough of anymore.
