Boys Like Girls Announce The Soundtrack Of Your Summer Fest With Stacked Pop-Punk Lineup

JUST ANNOUNCED: The Soundtrack Of Your Summer Fest 2026 featuring Boys Like Girls, Hit The Lights, Cute Is What We Aim For, and Cartel.

Boston, they heard you. 

Boys Like Girls is finally returning to Boston on Saturday, Aug. 29, for an encore performance from their spring “Soundtrack of Your Life” tour, celebrating 20 years of their self-titled album and 17 years of their sophomore album, “Love Drunk.” 

The Boston-based band is coming home for the first time as a headliner since October 2023’s “Homecoming” performance, which is now available for streaming on YouTube. The show is almost exactly 20 years after the release of their self-titled album, featuring hits including “The Great Escape” and “Thunder.”

Catch them at the Leader Bank Pavilion on Aug. 29, with support from Cute Is What We Aim For, Cartel, and Hit The Lights.

CIWWAF is taking the stage for the first time since November 2018. Cartel released a re-recorded version of their hit album, “Chroma,” in 2025, and they are currently working on their fifth album, and their first since 2013. Hit The Lights just wrapped up their spring tour, and they were recently announced to be playing the 2026 Four Chord Music Festival in Pittsburgh, Penn., this September. They released their most recent EP, “Tomorrow’s Gonna Hurt,” last year and are continuing to hit the road this summer. 

LiveNation, Artist and Venue presales are Wednesday, May 27, with public on-sale Friday, May 29.
