Alt-pop fave Reece Young explores the fear of watching someone you love grow older on his new single, 'I Taste Blood,' which is out now via Oxide Music. Inspired by his father’s first health scare, the track reflects on grief, gratitude, and the difficult reality of realizing that time doesn’t stand still for the people closest to us. “It’s about my parents getting older. Hard stuff to process.” Reece shares.
LA pop-punkers In Her Own Words hit us with 'Back To One,' via Thriller Records. On the track, the band shared, “'Back to One’ is about those moments when you know you’re stuck in the same cycle, but neither person is ready to let go. It’s about taking a step back, hitting reset, and trying to find your way back to the beginning instead of calling it the end."
Punk rock veterans MxPx are kicking off their newest era with the announcement of their 12th studio album, Living In The Chaos, set to drop on January 29th, 2027. Alongside the news, the band has released their latest drop, 'Panic Attack,' which brings the fast-paced energy and punk spirit they’ve always shown us.
Northlane hit us with new single 'Deathwish,' the fourth drop off of their upcoming seventh album, Anemoia, arriving November 27th and produced by the iconic Jordan Fish. Following “Crucified,” the new track dives into selfishness and unchecked ego, pairing soaring vocals and synths with a crushing breakdown.
Minneapolis pop-metalcore band SIFYN return with 'LEXICON.’ You already know how much we’ve been digging SIFYN, and are so ready for all the new tunes coming at us on December 4 with their upcoming EP Self-Encrypted. The track explores the frustration of facing uncomfortable truths and realizing that, no matter how much we want to fight back, we can only control our own actions.
Genre-benders Integra Pink have officially released their new album, Knucks, via Futureless. The record blends punk, cumbia, alternative rock, new wave, and hardcore, showcasing the band's experimental approach, with the latest single 'Great Responsibility' exploring sitting between personal goals and feeling unable to live without music.
Australian alt-rock band Stand Atlantic have officially released their fifth album, GODBREATH, via Virgin Music Group, featuring their new single 'SO COOL.' The record spans 11 tracks as the band embraces creative freedom and steps outside their comfort zone, blending pop, alternative, and heavier rock influences into this new era.
We're not done...
Here are our HEAVY HITTERS of the week:
To start off, we have Mental Cruelty. They dropped their new album 'Echoes of a Forlorn Land.' If you look up heavy hitter in the dictionary, we are 100% sure this is what comes up; heavy music is alive and well.
Next up, What Lies Below's 'Return to Nothing.' From Harrisburg, PA they're here to bring the energy. This track is a treat for your ears. We can only imagine how hard this would go at one of their live shows, plus by now you all know we can't help ourselves when it comes to those notable metal songs and yes it's THAT good.
