SHOW ANNOUNCEMENT: This Providence Self-Titled 20th Anniversary Show.
“Anything is possible.”
This Providence told us that 20 years ago, and they meant it. The Seattle-based four-piece recently announced a reunion show set for Oct. 2 at the Showbox in Seattle.
They will be performing their self-titled album for the occasion, with support from Daphne Loves Derby - another scene sweetheart that has been dormant for quite some time.
This Providence was a popular Fueled By Ramen act in the mid-2000s, touring with the likes of Paramore, Cute Is What We Aim For (also returning this year), and The Academy Is…, as well as other popular acts of the time, including Relient K, Cartel, Motion City Soundtrack, The Summer Set, and Set Your Goals.
This will be This Providence’s first show since 2012, and while Daphne Loves Derby played some shows in 2022, they have been largely dormant since 2008.
Both Seattle-based bands, they are sure to attract locals and fans from afar for this One Night Only event. You won’t want to miss it.
