New Music Friday: Fresh Faves of the Week - October 30th, 2026 – What Songs Came Out This Week? (Find New Releases) All new EMO.
OCTOBER 30th, 2026 –– Just in: this week's hottest new alternative and emo music releases. All the fresh faves in one place.
Another week, bringing you all the good stuff. From Fit For a King and Goalkeeper to industrial fave Aesthetic Perfection, get ready for mind-bending goodness.
Exciting news for Hawthorne Heights: the band just signed to Thriller Records and hit us with their new song 'Carry Me'. This new era is about to bring the heat for all of us elder emos, and the scene all around. One of our faves senses has a 'pattern' of dropping heaters, we've said it before, but they need to be on your radar.
Crown The Empire has given us 'violet,' a powerful track that sheds light on being caught between heartbreak and hope; they explain, “'violet’ illustrates a toxic relationship. When someone completely isolates you, brainwashes you into believing you're a horrible person and that they're the only one who really cares about you, you slowly start to lose who you are. It's an obsessive, possessive kind of love rooted in the mentality of ‘if I can't have you, no one can.’ You're being controlled by someone who demands absolute devotion and threatens destruction at the thought of losing you. It's about recognizing how dangerous that kind of love can become, but somehow still finding yourself drawn to the very thing that's destroying you.”
Alt-rock sibling duo The Haunt just released their latest album, Ghost, and let us tell you: it's heavy, straight-up killer, and the perfect album for your hallo-weekend this week. One of our fave drops of the week goes out to Public Works with 'Boy Scout' – Public Works has been giving us what we love about 2010s pop-punk; you have catchy riffs, fun lyrics, the whole package. He is easily one of the best up-and-comers in the scene.
Here are our HEAVY HITTERS of the week:
We have Currents. They dropped their brand new single 'Retributioner' they truly never miss. One of the best bands to see live...it's impossible to choose your favourite song out of their discography; it's all SO good. We love this drop and can't wait to see what they do next.
Next up, Hollow Front's 'Death To My Name '- yeah, this is a 10/10 banger, no notes. One of the best things about Fresh Faves is discovering new music we haven't heard before, and this one is definitely getting added to our playlists; it's the perfect mix of everything metalcore.
Bonus? Escape the Fate just released their video for 'Paranoia' check it out:
