You already know the drill – Kiss the Scientist came swinging in HARD this year and has no plans to slow down. The band released their debut EP, Better In My Head, in March, and, as we've said before, it's been on constant rotation for us here at TOP8 Scene. To make things even better, they just released a new track called 'Life You Want' that has been tugging at our heartstrings since it came out. One thing we love about Kiss the Scientist and their music is that it sticks with you. From the instrumentation to the lyrics, everything is clearly intentional. On paper, they’re still a newer band — formed in 2021 — but they write and play with a confidence you’d expect from a band that’s been at it for decades. Now, they’re taking the Midwest emo scene by storm, and we’re very much here for it.
